Welcome to the MSU Sustainable Food, Environment and Social Systems in Australia Education Abroad 2019.
Follow this blog as we travel across Australia learning about sustainability from May 14 (depart US May 12) – June 9, 2019.
On the right side of the blog screen, you will see the student names detailing a bit about themselves and their research topics. Each day 2 students will be our day leaders and will post an update on our day. Click on the individual dates under daily, to view the blog for any particular day. We also hope that you might submit a question related to sustainability for our group to respond to. If you subscribe to the blog, you will receive an email when the blog is updated. Despite this reminder, you might want to check back regularly, as we add pictures and comments all the time. Please also note that your first comment must be approved by an instructor before it will post. After that time, you can post comments without an approval.

Approved! Glad to have you virtually following us. We’ve had a great first day in Melbourne and a 1,000 step hike. Ask Julie about the hike and the National Parks in Victoria. Some of the group got to see a lyrebird in the wild, a rare sighting.
